Networking Open House

Please join the Oregon Association for Play Therapy at a social networking opportunity for the mental health community in Yamhill County!

Rhonda Andrews, ORAPT member, is hosting an open house at her office on Monday, March 29 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Food and drinks will be provided.

Drop by to meet other play therapists, discuss challenges/rewards of private practice, talk to ORAPT council members, find out about upcoming trainings, or learn what play therapy is all about. This is a perfect opportunity for students to network with professionals in the field!

Adlerian Family Play Therapy Training

Dr. Connie Eldridge-Pederson will introduce basic Adlerian concepts of Basic Life Long Needs, Life Tasks, Goals of Misbehavior, Personality Priorities, and the Crucial C’s. She will also provide an opportunity to integrate an understanding of these concepts through interactive exercises as applied to a specific case. Participants will learn Adlerian Play Therapy Storytelling Principles and have an opportunity to utilize these Play Therapy techniques in small group setting.

Dr. Eldridge-Pederson has spent the last 30 years working with children and their families in schools, agencies, residential centers and in private practice. She has taught family counseling in the graduate schools at Lewis & Clark College, Pacific University and the University of Portland. She has been a family counselor at in-patient and out-patient programs and she utilizes family therapy in her private practice.
